Gateway Of Heaven: Ladakh.

Gateway of Heaven: Ladakh is one of the most beautiful places one can visit in the world. It is situated in the beautiful Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It’s literally heaven on earth. It’s breathtaking and charming views can make you go wow in seconds. It has recently been made a Union Territory by the BJP government. The higher altitude of Ladakh will make you feel like you are at the top of the world. The snowy, rocky, barren brown mountains and windy paths with the natural blue color sky will make you sense the real beauty of nature. This journey to Gateway of Heaven: Ladakh will offer you some best views of the Great Himalayas.

Snow all around the ways
Just get lost in these snowy mountains.

One can plan a trip to Ladakh in the months of June to early October because before and after these months the roads remain closed due to heavy snowfall. Our Indian Army clears these snowy paths every year and makes it accessible to tourists. Thinking about the weather in Gateway of Heaven: Ladakh and clothes to carry? So, the answer to this question is that you will find very chilly and snowy weather all through your journey with speedy winds.

So, you at least have to wear three layers of clothes to protect yourself from the freezing cold along with caps, gloves, and mufflers. Some of you can feel high altitude sickness which can cause headaches, discomfort, etc. So, you need to carry essential medicines for the trip. Carry food and water bottles from your start point because once you will reach the high altitude you may have to purchase it at a high price like a water bottle and a lays at a price of Rs.40. Do carry chocolates and other energy giving food as they will provide you energy at the high altitude and do carry your oxygen cylinders as you may face breathing problems due to lack of oxygen at high altitudes.
